This is called Tony's Bass because he was the one who started building it. When I got my hands on it everything changed. I was in a very contact mic state of mind for a good long while. I figured I could remove the wash tub and turn it into an electric bass.
It was a fine idea in theory, only I never really got the chance to put it into practice. It was the last instrument to hang for my show at Mitzi's Sister, and was literally put on the wall as the varnish was drying. By the time I got home (which is only a block away) I had received a phone call saying somebody was interested in purchasing it. That was that.Here's a nice close up of Tony's Bass. Tony rocks.
